ACCA Foundation in Accountancy

ACCA Foundation in Accountancy (ACCA FIA) is a fast entry route to ACCA. This qualification is designed to build knowledge of accountancy and management. ACCA FIA prepares you to transfer onto the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification. ACCA FIA provides students with adequate technical skills and knowledge, which are required at a technician level.

Entry Requirement

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)

  • Pass SPM
  • Minimum of Grade C in five (5) subjects including English & Mathematics /Additional Mathematics

Ordinary Level (O-Level)

  • Pass O-Level
  • Minimum of Grade C in five (5) subjects including English & Mathematics /Additional Mathematics

International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)

  • Pass IGCSE
  • Minimum of Grade C in five (5) subjects including English & Mathematics/Additional Mathematics

Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)

  • Pass UEC
  • Minimum of Grade B in five (5) subjects including English & Mathematics /Additional Mathematics

International Students Candidate

  • Equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government and Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA) AND
  • IELTS Band Scores 6; OR
  • TOEFL Total Score 70/120

The actions are compulsory for INTEC as tuition provider thus, students' consents are regarded as automatically obtained through the terms & conditions by the Professional Body.


Fees paid are not refundable except in the circumstances specified in the “fee policy“.


Students ARE NOT ALLOWED to defer the examination, change subject, or absent from an examination without approval from the Academic Committee.

Course Transfer

Visa Application

For International Students, INTEC is not responsible for the student’s visa applications and it is the duty of the students to meet the Malaysian Immigration Department requirements and arrange their visa application accordingly. If the students are not able to secure a proper visa, the offer letter is automatically void.

Student Data

Once a student registered with INTEC, the Academic Office will proceed to ACCA registration to obtain/update students’ ACCA ID and status. Please be informed that as a tuition provider, INTEC is able to:

  • track the progress of ACCA application.
  • register students for examination and view students’ exam status.
  • request ACCA full transcript from students for record purposes.
  • receive students’ results through ACCA result service for record purposes.
  • Share student result to sponsorship bodies for reporting purposes.
